New functions for the IOLAN KeyLock

For many years, the IOLAN KeyLock has been used for worry-free and fully automated collection and issuance of registered goods such as keys, pagers and mobile devices. In 2022 it will be 24 years that the KeyLock, with individual lockers with key detection, is used in all kinds of sectors, including healthcare and judicial institutions. These organizations now save a lot of time and resources and there is no longer any manual registration and management of keys and pagers and clear ad-hoc reports are available.

The KeyLock has been continuously developed over the years and expanded with new features and techniques. The newest variant now has unique MIFARE DESFire detection with tags, bringing the technology to the most recent and secure standards (including Cyber security capabilities and TCP/IP communication). In addition, the KeyLock now features a full-color touchscreen that makes use even easier and faster. Furthermore, the application and charging of devices, such as PZI/MAI/pagers/DECT, has become easier with channels for cable entry, universal connections and base cabinet. Finally, the latest KeyLock is modularly expandable and can even be combined with the IOLAN KeyWall solutions.

Of course, it is also made with robust and durable materials and is therefore, including the operating terminal, vandal-resistant and applicable in even the most critical environments. This new V3 variant as a successor is also interchangeable for existing older KeyLock systems. The KeyLock can also be combined with all kinds of access control functions, such as anti-pass-back, validated presence and calendars/time locks. This variant has also been optimized for use with Rijkspas in accordance with the most recent standards. Replacing existing KeyLock cabinets can be extra interesting with these latest functions, but new applications with possibly third-party devices are also possible.
